Enlightened Psychological Assessment is out-of-network with insurance companies and does not process insurance claims directly. This allows us to provide comprehensive, individualized psychological evaluations without the restrictions placed by insurance companies. However, we are an insurance-friendly practice and will provide all necessary paperwork so you can file a claim with your insurance company if you choose.

Fees vary based on the service/type of evaluation provided.

• Clinical intakes are $240. At the conclusion of the intake, we provide you with an estimate of the total cost of testing based on your assessment goals and presenting problems.

• The total cost of testing can range from $1,800 (not including the clinical intake) to $3,000 (for more in-depth psychoeducational/learning evaluations). Testing is based on the total time it takes to complete your individual evaluation and ensures there are no hidden fees.

• Payment for the clinical intake is due before the scheduled appointment.

• The estimated cost of the evaluation, which is given to you at the conclusion of the intake, is due at the time of the testing session. If, at the time of testing, changes to the assessment plan need to be made, you will be informed of potential changes in total cost before we proceed. Any balance/credit that remains at the conclusion of the evaluation is reconciled after you receive your report.

• We accept all major credit cards and Health Savings or Flexible Spending Accounts (HSA/FSA).

• If you plan to use your Out-of-Network benefits with your insurance provider, please note that academic testing is NOT a covered benefit and will not be reimbursed.

Cancelation Policy:

We require 48-hour notice for cancelation of a scheduled intake, testing session, or feedback appointment. If an appointment is canceled with less than 48-hours, there is a $150 cancelation fee for the intake session, $500 cancelation fee for the testing session, and $150 cancelation fee for the feedback appointment. If you cancel your intake session but reschedule before your testing date is scheduled, the cancelation fee will be waived.

Please keep in mind:

• Showing up late to the testing session means there will be less time to complete the planned assessment battery.

• You must be in a safe, private location in Pennsylvania for all telehealth (virtual) sessions. If at the time of the appointment you log into the appointment and are not in the state of PA or not in a safe and private location (e.g., while driving, in a library, park or other public area), the appointment cannot be continued and a cancellation fee will be applied.

• Cancelation fees must be paid before appointments are rescheduled.
